My daughter is 6 years old and she is quite the artist. So much so that she wants to be Kat Von D when she grows up:
She loves Animals:
We are reading the Harry Potter stories together. This is the note that Professor Dumbledore gave to the Gryffindor Quidditch which would allow them to practice on the pitch
|"I command that the Griffindors can practice Quidditch. Professor Albus Dumbledore"|
But Hannah still spells things phonetically.
A Valentines note to my Sister-in-law, and her Dog, who just had pups:
I present: Hannah's Interpretation of the Mona Lisa (please note her spelling: Moataleesa).
Her attention to detail astounds me sometimes. Please note the dog pee at the bottom of the Tree (bottom right of the Pic):
The Hogwarts House Mascots:
Most nights, either my husband or I will get a note from her, hidden under our pillows, for us to discover when coming to bed. This is just one of them:
She has the ability to drive me insane, and melt my heart. I love her so much that it hurts me sometimes. She is my daughter and I hope I do right by her. Her heart is so small and breaks over the smallest things. She was once stung by a bee. And she was just inconsolable, not because she was stung and sore, but because the poor bee died.
For now, I will just boast about her enormous ability. And I will continue to encourage this. This and Maths. Which is just art with numbers :)
