Popping My Origins Cherry. I want more

I was in Dublin the other day with a bit of time to kill before I had to be somewhere, and I had a bit of spare cash so I hit up Arnotts, specifically the Origins Stand. While there was no dedicated Origins Lady/Gent there to help me, the  Gorgeous Lady on the Shiseido saw me floundering and helped me out.

I was after a few specific things, but ended up just getting two of them, deciding to see how I get on before I make a new commitment. I picked up the Origins Super Spot Remover Treatment and the new way to sample Origins Masks, I chose the Clear Improvement Mask.

This is cool. A blister pack of 4 pods each containing 5ml of mask, which is more than enough to generously cover your whole face (see below). And its lovely. This is a super silky clay based mask that draws impurities to the surface of the skin to be washed away leaving you with clear skin. It applies easily and dries like you expect a clay mask to dry: hard. And it cracks satisfyingly when you move your face.

I am a convert. I want to try their Original Skin Mask next. And these little trial sizes cost just €6.00 for the pack containing a total of 20ml. Worth being able to try a mask a few times before you decide if it suits you. So very Smart Origins!

Origins Super Spot Remover was picked up for Himself. And me. But primarily for Himself. I've tried it and it is worth the €19.00. I had an annoying painful red little spot, 3 days old, but still no head, just sore and red and sore and irritating. After cleansing and toning I applied a small dot of "Remover" on a clean cotton bud to the spot, I let it dry, applied my night cream and went to bed. The next morning, the redness, swelling and soreness was 90% gone. After 1 night!

Admittedly on application there was a bit of stinging, but it faded to a tingling after about 10 seconds. The tingling faded very quickly after I applied my moisturiser. I am super impressed and I concede that Origins named this teensy bottle well. Super Spot Remover indeed. Its known as Small&Mighty in our house now. It has worked absolute wonders on Himself's spots and his ingrown hairs thanks to Salicylic Acid which helps speed healing, skin-calming Caffeine and Red Algae to help relieve and reduce redness. He Likes it too. (Like, with a capital L).

I am keen to know more about Origins as a brand. Their products always seem to go down really well in the blogging community and I like that they are making a concerted effort at using packaging that has been and is recycled.
