There is a lot I can say about Vichy Normaderm Night Detox, but it basically comes down to two things:
I love it (space bar space bar space bar) It works.
It knocks LRP Effaclar Duo + out of its place in my routine. It just works. And it works much, much quicker.
It costs €18.99 for the 40ml tube and you can get it in most pharmacies and in Boots stores too. And if you have oily skin or are struggling with breakouts:
It works. You can see a difference overnight. Yes. After one use I could see a definite difference in the redness and size of some of the spots on my face. And the oiliness that is normally prevalent down my t-zone was not as bad when I woke up the next morning.
Admittedly when you first use it there is a definite wiff of alcohol off it. Well alcohol is the 3rd ingredient on the list, and while Vichy say that sensitive skins can use this, I'd steer clear if you have sensitive or highly reactive skin, it does sting on broken skin, so just watch for that. But otherwise it is a greenish tinted lotion, its not liquid, but it isn't creamy either, it spreads easily and absorbs quickly so there is not messing with it.
The little nozzle makes it easy to dispense just the right amount, I need about a chick-pea sized blob to do my face and its enough without overloading it, or overdoing it. I like it.
I am not using it every night, but every second night when I am not using my Alpha H Liquid Gold. And I find that this combination had cleared my skin up quite nicely. I am still getting spots, but they are smaller, are not sore and irritating and they heal faster. I am also not getting "clusters" anymore!
I can't really comment on my pore size. Everyone has pores... And I'm ok with them as long as they're not blocked, red and sore. And I can't lay all the credit for Radiant Skin at Vichy's door... Liquid Gold is doing a fab job too.
Vichy have found a winning formula in Night Detox, and if they would take the little blue scrubby bits out of their 3 in 1 cleanser + mask + scrub and make it a 2 in 1 Cleanser + Mask, this combo would be pretty amazing for oily skinned folks.
