New Real Techniques Brushes: My Picks

I adore my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. It goes with me if I travel, and it is the brush I reach for most often when I am putting on makeup. And now Real Techniques have welcomed Sam’s sister Nic Chapman to their fabulous makeup brush line. With over 165 million views on their Youtube channel - Pixiwoo - Sam and Nic have over 30 years experience in the beauty industry between them and they are my go to peeps when I am looking for ideas, inspiration or technique.

To begin their collaboration together, Nic & Sam have released four brand new innovative brushes: (Excuse the blurry pics... I haven't been able to buy my own set yet so these are stock pics)

Real Techniques Retractable Bronzing Brush provides a smooth application for all-day perfection. This brush is the key for creating a natural finish by expertly blending bronzer or finishing powder. You could use this in the same way as I intend to use the Retractable Kabuki Brush... good for handbags without having to carry around another compact.  RRP €15.95/£12.95

Applying eyeliner has never been easier with . The Real Techniques Silicone Liner Brush is an innovative brush is supposed to be the ultimate tool for the smooth, precise application of liquid or cream eyeliner. This makes sense to me because the brush will not absorb gel/cream products, so technically you will use less product and it should apply smoothly without dragging. While I am not the biggest fan of cream liners, this is something I'd love to try. RRP €7.50/£5.95

The Real Techniques Retractable Lip Brush is something that fixes a bugbear of mine: Lip brushes with no lid. Unless you are super steady with your Ultra Bright Lipstick in the bullet, you are going to end up with a  lipstick covered makeup bag interrior.  The ultra firm lip brush can be used to apply both lipstick & lip gloss to perfection. This one is on my "Need It" list. RRP €8.50/£6.95

The versatile Real Techniques Retractable Kabuki Brush can be used with blush, highlighter, bronzer & finishing powder. The travel friendly brush makes looking gorgeous on the go a simple task. This is my Pick of the bunch, especially for oily gals. This would be perfect for popping into your bag to touch up during the day without having to actually carry around your powder. If you apply powder to the brush, retract it and keep it for later use... this means one less compact to weigh your bag down while still avoiding the 2pm shine-fest. This has also gone on to my "Need It" list  RRP €14.50/£11.95

As with all Real Techniques Makeup Brushes these brushes are 100% cruelty free and you can get your mitts on these right now if you go to www.cloud10beauty.com
