ELF Glam Bam Nail Polish Trio

Eyes Lips Face or E.L.F frequently has sales or discount codes so you can almost always pick up a few bargains. I like some of their brushes, their Studio Line is pretty good and their mineral lipsticks are great quality for the price you pay. But I generally always wait until they have a 50% off code before I place an order so that I know I can get really great value for my shipping.

This Nail Polish Trio (which is normally £4/€4.82) in Glam Bam is a GREAT price for three mini polishes, and the quality is pretty dang good for a budget brand.

I placed my order just before Christmas, and delivery, even during a very busy time was swift (under a week).

Glam Bam would be perfect for the festive season, which is now well behind us, but Wellington's Dey (Valentines day) is coming up and this would be pretty for then too. The 6ml bottles are a great size and their unusual shape makes them lovely to have out on your dresser.

Cranberry is a lovely foil-ish/metallic red. Deep and rich and very very pretty. Longevity is not bad, without a top coat and just 2 thin coats of polish I got a full 3 days before I noticed tipwear. Its nice... but I am not the biggest fan of red polish on my nails...

Golden Goddess is a clear polish with different sized gold glitter bits. Pretty in the bottle, but it is a mission to get a decent glitter particle distribution over the nail. It is also the gloopyist of the three. It takes a bit of patience to get it to look really good, but a quick swipe isn't awful looking.

Blush. Ah. Blush is gorgeous. It looks nothing... NOTHING like the pic on the ELF website. And it isn't a blush colour at all. Blush is the most beautiful reddish gold foil that is perfect in 2 skinny coats and dries very quickly to leave you with very, very beautiful looking nails. Well I think it does.

I do like Blush. Its soft and elegant and it works well on my skin tone. I was surprised with the quality, its on par with the likes of Essence and Catrice and the price is similar. I got a good 4 days before I got my first chip and I wasn't wearing a top coat, although I did notice tip-wear on the 2nd day, but I am extremely toug on my nails and they are in shocking condition.

The ELF nail trio is available in 6 colour ways that I am very interested in trying out when they have another one of their codes. you can find them on the ELF website here.

    1. They are no Barry M or China Glaze or OPI... but for a few quid you can't fault them!

    1. I am the same... I have stopped buying makeup from them, but I like some of their brushes and I needed to make something to make up the minimum order... and I liked the look of the Glitter polish, but am smitten with Blush
