2012 Christmas blogger meetup Nails For Orla

A few weeks ago I got involved with a "Random Act of Kindness" which was run by Rachel (of A Pretty Obsession fame), and I was beyond thrilled when my little package arrived and I realised it was from Orla from Irish Girl In London. She sent me a few goodies, but I did a little jig in the kitchen when I saw this beautiful Peacock Green Barry M Nail Paint. And then I oohed and aahed over the gold glittery Barry M Nail Paint.

I knew that this was The Combo that would be adorning my nails for the Christmas Blogger Meetup organised by Sarah ( adoreabubbles.blogspot.ie ).

Barry M Nail Paint 334 Teal (RRP €5.50 or there abouts) is a gorgeous metallic greeny blue. The first coat is streaky and patchy. But the second coat reveals its beauty. I love this. A third think coat ensures even coverage and minimal tip wear.

Barry M Nail Paint 351 Yellow Topaz Glitter is the sparkliest gold glitter I have seen in a while, due to the addition of a sprinkling of silver and almost greeny glitter. One coat gives fantastic coverage, and you can just paint it on, you don't have to worry about placing the glitter particles (like on my tips). 2 coats gives you full on eye catching blinding sparkle. I LOVE IT!!!!!!

I didn't think I would love it as much when trying to remove the glitter though. Happily, it didn't take too much elbow grease, and I wasn't demented for 3 days picking glitter off my fingers.

Teal and Yellow Topaz garnered me loads of compliments on the day of the meetup and for the rest of the weekend. I love the combination of these two, and I think the Gold Glitter would look spectacular over a red polish too...

I had a fantastic time meeting all the other Beauty Bloggers and Vloggers that attended the meetup.

Sarah organised gorgeous goodies bags for us,

and a fab raffle (with wonderful prizes), in aid of Age Action.

Then Niamh from Nima Brush to chat to us about her fab brushes, new cleansing mitt and re-did Sarah's make up....

And the teensy tiny perfectly coiffed Marissa Carter sold us on her Brand Spanking New Cocoa Brown Self Tan...

I just want to say thanks to Sarah for organising everything for the meet up, she did a fantastic job and she looked fantastically festive too!

And a special thanks to Orla for my RAK pressie. I love the polishes and the lippie and the eyeshadows. The bells have come in super hand for some DIY Christmas Decorations I have been making...
