Essence Eye Makeup Remover is Ace...

So everybody knows that oil based makeup removers are fantastic for removing all kinds of make-up, but most especially pesky waterproof mascara, and Essence's waterproof eye makeup remover is really a little bottle of magic.

my new Favourite: Essence Waterproof eye makeup remover. Its Ace.

Its a dual phase formula that needs a little shake to mix the ingredients, it smells of nothing and it doesn't sting.
IT DOESN'T STING PEOPLE!!!
And it works like a dream. I soak two cotton pads with a bit of the mix and I place the pads on closed eyelids and lie back on the bed for 30 seconds just letting the product soak in.

Oil on water never looked so pretty, worked so well or DIDN'T STING!!

Then the cottonpads need just a little wiggle in a downwards motion and all my mascara is magicked off my lashes then I fold the cottonpads over and gently wipe away any residue left under my eyes. And then just to be really neat, I use a cottonbud and run it under my lower lashes to make sure I got ALL of the mascara and eyeliner off.

As with all dual-phase removers, this is a little oily (one of the ingredients is mineral oil), but its not a greasefest, and anyways, I use this before I do my main cleanse, so any product residue is washed away.

Ingredients

In the interest of making sure about my Un-Sting-iness claim, I went so far as to use it on my waterline to test it. I'm hard-core like that. And it doesn't sting. A soaked cottonbud  run on the waterline to remove pesky eyeliner, removed said liner and didn't sting.

This is really gentle, is very, very softly scented and the glycerine in the formulation ensures that it doesn't dry out the delicate eye area. You don't need to rub and pull at the lashes or lids to remove mascara and eyeliner.

opening in just big enough to let enough, but not too much product out.

125mls retails at €1.59. That is no typo, it really is One Euro and Fifty Nine cents. And they do a Pink one that is supposed to take of non-waterproof makeup for the same price. But I haven't tried it yet, as I really like (and believe in) oils in make-up removers. Oh and did I mention it doesn't sting??? Cos it doesn't!!!

Because its such an ace little bottle of magic mascara remover, I am going to give one away, along with Essence Extra Longlasting Eyeliner Pen (black) AND Essence All Eyes On Me Multi Effect Mascara!
