Mani(c) Monday: They're different colours...

"It's nice.... but they are different colours..."

Yep. That is the LAST time I ask Himself what he thinks of my manicures.

I am loving all over Essence at the moment... and I am getting loads of compliments about my sorbet nails too...

Essence Colour and Go 53 You Belong To Me is what I would call a sea green with a very, very faint blue micro-shimmer. A lovely summer colour on its own, it has been doing a fabulous job on my toes this summer. But since the weather hasn't really be conducive to showing off my tootsies... I had to at least give it an outing on my nails.

On my toes Two coats is fine, but I could have done with a third coat on my fingers. Its also a bit of a pain to work with, it dries very quickly and to stop drag marks you need to work quickly.

I am never content to have all one colour though (unless its Catrice Gold Finger...) and I decided to break up the gregarious green with a bit of lavender...

86 A Lovely Secret is the perfect matching contrast on my ring finger and on my index finger. It matches cos it also has a very faint blue micro-shimmer running through it, but its contrasting cos its not green...

Overall I like the combo. Its different and quirky and it makes me happy...

My standard base coat of OPI Nail Envy and top coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dry completes my summer sorbet quartet...
