I don't wear it too often as I find it a little drying on my lips.
It leans more towards orange than pink, although the bullet is a lovely pink colour.

Vintage Pink is well pigmented and wears evenly, and it doesn't leave a funny bitter taste at the back of my tongue as some Avon lippies do.
Applying well from the slender bullet, you can layer it up to increase its longevity, although a single, well applied coat will last a good 3 hours (and 3 cups of coffee). Adding a coat of gloss or balm over the top helps to prevent its drying effect. I like that the container closes with a solid satisfying snap, as most of Avon's Lipsticks do, so you don't have to worry about it opening in your bag.
I think I paid about €6 for it, about 2 years ago, and I have worn it about 5 or 6 times since I bought it.
Its a lovely colour to wear at the start of spring. Its not the most exciting colour, but it makes for a nice change.
Nice review and nice blog :) :) xx

ReplyDeleteLove the colour on you, shame you can't get it anymore though.
ReplyDeleteWondering why blog if you cannot get it anymore?
ReplyDeleteJust trying to use it up and to change it up for my Lipstick challenge, that is all :)
