Nicely Nude feels like a balm on my lips, it applies like a dream and its longevity is pretty good. I get a good 4 hours (and 2 cups of coffee and a slice of toast) out of one good application (you can't be shy as the colour needs to be built up) before I felt the need to touch up.

And the only reason I went to touch up was because I like the way it feels on my lips, there was still a good lot of colour on my lips. It's good and slippy and really feels moisturising.

I paired it with my new favourite look:
I wore this all weekend and I may wear this all this week I like it so much. Its such a pretty neutral colour that you can lash on in a hurry and it just makes your lips look loved.
This Lippy is mineral based, contains no parabens, no preservatives and no chemical dyes. It tastes of nothing and there is no yucky aftertaste. They currently have 18 different shades on offer in their mineral line. And at €4 a pop, you can't really go wrong with this, unless you are looking for mad pigmentation. If you are looking for crazy pigmentation then this is not the shade for you...
On to the swatches. It is a fairly sheer shade, its definitely a warm nude colour with a lovely subtle pink undertone.

It does need some building up if you want good colour and longevity, so don't be afraid to layer this sucker up. Blotting between initial applications is going to be your friend here. And application is a joy, it just slides on. No waxiness or dragging in this little tube.

You can only get this online, but check out ELF on Facebook before you order as they regularly run discount codes...
Oh that looks really pretty! I like it, I have never tried elf, I must give them a go!
ReplyDeleteI have one of their lipsticks and I like the colour and formula; but it broke almost straight away when I got it! :( Must try some more though.
