if you do one thing today...

... have a look at this blog...

this is not just an Irish beauty blog.

This is the Mothership (as it is known).

This is the one that started the movement for foundations that actually match skin tones. And wish lists. And much threatening to cut up debit/credit/lazer cards.

Sisters, Kirstie and Aisling, have created the most supportive community a girl could ask for. Advice on various topics, not just beauty related topics is freely given. And the women (its mostly women) who follow this blog are incredible. Trust me on this.

The posts are well written, with pictures to salivate over. If you like salivating over what is widely accepted to be Make-up Porn. Competitions are regular with fab prizes on offer.

And they have wisely shared a bit of the work load by getting X-Girl (best on budgets) , Lynnie (in charge of Nails and their dupes) and new addition Sarah (the Fabbest tutorials).

With two books published and (hopefully) more on the way, these ladies are ones to watch. Hopefully not just in Ireland.

I only hope I can do them proud, they were mostly the inspiration for my blog. Their Followers and the community created was the push I needed to get out here.

Consider me a Learner. Learning from the best.

  1. I don't know what I'd have done if I hadn't discovered - have 'met' such lovely people online through that site, it's unreal x

  2. Never heard of it before, thanks - will check it out :)

  3. Thank you! That is so so nice!

  4. @ MissGreenEyes - I know!!! I need my daily fix of these girls... its almost as bad as my coffee addiction!

@ Annie - I am sorry. Introducing you to will cause you to spend copious amounts of money on beautiful cosmetics that you "need". Enjoy!

@ Kirstie - You guys helped me though a very tough time in March of this year. Although I didn't quite realise it at the time... it all caught up with me recently and this is my outlet. And its cos you guys are so great!
